Company History
"Bonded Foods" was formed in 1963 by Arthur Oppenheimer and Ernest J. Voigt to provide foodservice distributors a private label program for premium frozen fruits, vegetables, and potatoes through forward warehouses.
In 1981, Bonded Foods was changed to Golbon as it transitioned into a full service, broad-line purchasing and marketing group for independent foodservice distributors.
